Occupied the posts of Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of various companies between 1981 and 1993 in the textile, finance, industry, hotels, shopping malls and real estate development in Germany, France, Spain and the USA;

Vice President of Merrill Lynch S.A.M., Monte Carlo, Monaco (1993 to 2002).

Credited with the successful turn-around of several of the companies listed above, but also of the Real Estate Bank of Syria (1997) as an Advisor and of BLC Bank S.A.L. (2002 to 2008) and BLC Bank France S.A. (2002 to 2010), as Chairman and CEO.

President of Souria Holding (2009-2010), an investment holding company in Syria.

Economic Advisor of the President of the Republic of Lebanon, General Michel Sleiman during his entire mandate (2008-2014) and subsequently, Senior Advisor to the President of the Council of Ministers (2014-2016), Mr. Tammam Salam until the end of his mandate in October 2016. During Mr. Salam’s mandate there was a prolonged presidential vacancy of two and a half years.

Chairman of the Board of Directors of Astro Bank, Cyprus, from March 2017 until December 2021.

Senior Advisor to XPADIA since March 2023. XPADIA is an advisory company serving and facilitating foreign investments in Cyprus and Cypriot investments in foreign markets.

Participated in several promotional activities at the request of Invest Cyprus or the Cyprus Investment Promotion Agency (CIPA), including as part of official delegations to foreign countries for the purpose of promoting Cyprus as an investment destination.

Member of the board of various companies in the banking, hospitality, real estate, industrial and trading sectors in Lebanon, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

Vice-President of the International Chamber of Commerce Lebanon.

Member of the Board of Trustees of USEK University (Kaslik, Lebanon).
